They look lush in the metal, I'll definitely look at upgrading the NA once they come down in price (by a lot...) haha. I like how they've stayed "true" to the original concept even after all this time.

In my old one I put black carpets and dash in there, with tan crash pads right around, with the tan seats. I thought it looked pretty good. Would have been even better with the black inserts in the seats though. All tan is just a bit too much aye!

Looks to me like a piece of ring has escaped and been thrashing around your cylinder. Or at a long shot, check something silly like your throttle body screw hasn't jumped out of place and ended up in the cylinder.

Easy to get replacements dude. Get the genuine Mazda ones, they're about $40 for a pair directly from Mazda. Piece of cake to fit too, just cut off the old hose rather than dicking around because the ali on the fittings that go into the car are soft as shit and you don't want to crush them.

Could be a wheel alignment issue as well. Too much toe will cause that, or some worn bushes... Basically I'd be having a look at the condition of the rear suspension and bushes in general.

Snow tyres?! Glad you're using them for skids cos that's all they're good for. I drove one car on snow tyres once and it was pretty hairy! Donnovan a lick of paint and some less ricer rims and your car would look as good as it goes! I'm on tank as well and both of my cars are FILTHY. Occasionally hi...

Have killed 3 exedy clutches in various cars. Have since stopped using them and never had another one fail. And yup, they all failed around the springs.

Had nothing to do Friday night so called a couple of mates around and installed a Racing Beat front swaybar and some supermiata endlinks (not really needed but coilovers hopefully coming soon so will need the adjustability). A cramped car port and working with 3 indoor lamps, 2 tiny light bulbs in ...

That's why I've not done the car show thing in a loooooong time. I build cars for me and the way I like them. I go to car meets, not shows, I talk to people with similar interests, not wanabe posers that pay to look at nice cars and criticise people for not following current trends. There will alway...

In theory I would turn the axle ten times and the crown would rotate 39 times for a 3.9 and 41 times for a 4.1. I guess I shall do that and report back tonight.

I fixed the oil leak to the turbo on my MX, fitted some 1.8L brakes and put some generic number plates on all ready for the new owner.

He's decided he doesn't want the torsen (which I haven't installed yet), any takers?

If you spray the pipe with a high temp silicone sealant before applying the heat wrap it's supposed to cure this issue, plus it sort of "glues" the heat wrap together so it works far better. That being said I've only heard this is an issue on stainless systems and doesn't have much of an effect on m...
