I went from 185/60/14 to 195/50/15 and have noticed a big drop in revs at motorway speeds, went from nearly 4k at 110kph to just over 3500rpm. I have noticed a lack of "nippiness" through the revs too, but the added traction makes up for this IMO

Heh, sorry about that Keiran. I had my eye on those wheels since Ross put them up for sale. New wheels with nice sticky tyres on em. The plonker at the tyre shop overinflated the tyres, nearly at 40psi when cold. I wondered why the ride was so much harsher. Dropped back down to 30psi and what a diff...

Picked up the car about an hour ago. Needs a bit of TLC on the outside, but in a few weeks it will be shiny wonderful.
