He is quoting about 165hp at the engine and appox 50% increase in tourqe. The supercharged 4age was 117kw from memory.This kit comes with tuned megasqurt so power claimes sound about right. It can be upgraded with a intercooler and diffrent pullys more more power. I would be happy if I can get 165hp...

Compression test?

I would like to get my NA,s engine compression tested as i suspect that it may have a problem, its goes good and starts fine but very rarely it blows a bit of smoke. Not all the time but I would like to get it checked out. My question is does anyone have a compression tester I could use to check it ...

I have fitted new shocks and lowered springs and are putting in new bumpstops they are not standard and can be trimmed to size. My question is appox what lenght should they be? I got a full set of kyb shocks for $600 for hyper tyres.....did not replace the bump stops but you can get them from stocks.

Will check in the morning when the light is better....not to sure. Checked the plugs and they look ok to me , but i,m no expert. Running BOSCH PLATINUM FUSIONS FGR7DO1 Are they the correct plugs? Why do you ask about the converter?

I think my 1991 na is running rich. It has a very dirty (black) pipe and after any drive longer than 20-30 mins it leaves a black sooty film on the rear bumper. Also if I give it a go it will backfire a little when changing gear. The car runs very well and revs good but i,m sure it is running to ric...

I am after a set of NB upper sock mounts...I have heard they will give my NA car a bit more travel in the suspension. Anyone got a set lying around they would like to sell?

Yeah fitted perfectly, dont have to drill any holes and made vey well. JUST VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!

I have one, they look great but only offer a little braceing. It seemed to stop a little of the "shake" the car had but you would not want to have a roll over with one.

Just for anyones info, got the kings swapped for some dobies and they have worked perfect. 20-25mm drop which is spot on.....so anyone wanting to put king springs in there MX5......my suggestion would be DONT. :lol:

Hi, yes to the last few questions. I put two sacks of cement in the boot (50kg) and its looks like it is starting to settle down. I will leave them ther for a few weeks to see what happens...thanks for all the comments :lol:

????? I,m confussed????? The front spring on the front is SHORTER? than the rear. When I took my stock springs off the fronts were LONGER than the rear?

p.s the new springs were quite a bit shorted than the originals sitting side by side out of the car.

Yeah...four brand new shocks and four brand new springs all the correct sizes. Measured the car in same place before and after new springs/shocks. I am very baffled with this myself. You can easliy see the diffrence between the two front struts even without a measuring tape. and basically no change ...

Have replaced my shocks and springs in my NA. Shock were just a KYB replacment..slightly firmer than stock but still streetable and KINGS 30mm drop springs. have gone with king springs and most likely KYB AGX adjustables but what do I need for bump stops and rubber dust shields? What would be best to use?

I am instrested in the lowered bilsteins you have but have heard putting them into a NA car may not lower it? Can you shead any light on that?
