i can't confirm or deny that.....
would be great if it dore, im yet to see a wiring diagram to tell, and havnt stripped the consul back to tell.... as yet....

i don't think it does, my partner has a 98 1600cc as well, we were wondering the same thing, as with all my cars i like to know when it will run out of gas, so armed with 5 liters of gas i went on a mission untill it ran out, i got 72km driving conservatly from the point it was squarly on the empty ...

how did you angle the steering wheel, its a bit of a bugger that the wheel doesnt come out from the factory with that ability... like most cars these days

mmm, well thats not so good, (the price is fine) do they not latch at all from the inside?? maybe security screws might be in order if i do find one,
i see there is a company in hamilton making them, but they have no rear window, or any sort of attachments,
should i just hold out for a oem one??

hard top for series 2.... where to get them??

does any one know of a wreckers who would be likely to have one???
or does any one know of someone who wants to sell one...

are all the hard tops the same?? eg can i fit a series 1 to a series 2 car???

the problem with doing the seat mod is.... she's a wee lass, all of 5'2 so the car has plenty of room for her, and if i mod the seat to suit me, she'll .... well lets just say its not really worth my life :D ill keep my eyes open on trademe for a spare wheel, and go from there, i can weld both alloy...

well its not looking too good then really :(

i might see if i can get another standard wheel and a smaller sports steering wheel, and weld the 2 together ...... famous last words aye :D

if anyone has a airbag wheel that they don't want, let me know :D
