I don't frequent roadster, but do they mean wishbone links?

I'd assume that by maximising castor available it would make steering work easier "drifting".

Otherwise they may mean rack ends to get more steering angle?

I bought my hardtop from brownie, can definitely recommend - arrived in Auckland very well packed!

:)

edit: What did you need to borrow one for? If it's for checking fitment/clearance I'd be more than happy to lend mine.

If I'm not mistaken, '94 onwards NA's have side intrusion bars and a couple of other safety bits that make them heavier.

For those of you worried about safety - EURONCAP seems fairly impressed with the NB and NA body.

I think perhaps WideOpenThrottle misunderstood me. I think both options offer merits - but I would go for the coilovers that brownie is selling. brownie's coilovers + $350 cert + $170 cornerweighting (optional) = $1170 + springs $300 + shocks e.g. koni SA yellow $960+gst = $1300 + The non-adjustable...

So,if my mx5 is an occaisional playday track car but a mostly road car why bother with an expensive cert when perhaps i should get some performance coil-overs with lowered springs that dont need a cert? A penny for your thoughts! :D I think you might mean non-adjustable dampers . But yes, dampers a...

An electric one, so the box is already there I think, just needs a fuse in it :)

Righto, there is wiring - needs a relay, fuse and a switch I think. I think I may have to find a combination switch because it shares the foglight slot..

I don't think installing a safety item over carpets would be a good idea - no matter how tight you had it the carpet would still introduce compliance into the system reducing its effectiveness.

Any pictures of this rollbar bay any chance? I'm curious to see what it consists of.

Hardtop seals and wiring

Have recently acquired a hard top with a heated window (cheers brownie!). Unfortunately, the seal around the rear window is damaged. I have some black Urethane I thought I could use - is there any downside to this? Otherwise, are normal glazers (Smith & Smith, et al) able to replace the seals withou...

Thats a Trust rear exhaust set up that uses the HKS super drager tip. It is a nice system, with a nice sound too. Oh, I see, how does one confirm that? The only markings I see are on the tip? The system extends well into the factory heatshielding of the middle factory cat/reso, which also includes ...

How much of the exhaust is included in the offer? Is it from the manifold back, cat back or just the rear box? Only a catback I'm afraid. Here are some pics, not sure how helpful they are, sorry. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c219/ubertard/DSC_1701-1.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c219/u...

Ah right, I wasn't clear. I meant cash my way. I was thinking about $100ono on top of whatever it costs to swap them over? It's a genuine HKS item, don't want to lose too much money on it! The other option I was thinking of, was to change the very tip of the exhaust so it looks standard, but that wo...

NA8 HKS Exhaust

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone would like to swap their factory NA8 exhaust for my HKS item (plus a little bit of cash)?

I'm trying to return my G-Limited to original condition (hence the sale of my wheels, etc)

Cheers.
