Ok - end of my rant
i came across a "safety van" today, at the bottom of a hill in the middle of the Kopu-Hikuai road. only point to pass between the two sections of gorge. poor form i thought.

luckily i was heading home so didn't have the frustration built up in me.

I would just double or triple spot-weld the door openings
faster, tidier, and just as stiff.

I can do it if you like.

good stuff,

you will want to start collecting all of the pieces to do it beforehand, and any of the other things that will require certification.

there are plenty of guys around here that will be able to help with most of your questions.

just remember, you cant just slap a turbo on the side and be done. you will need some sort of fuel control otherwise your engine wont last very long. then there is also the cost of the cert otherwise not having a pink sticker wont last long. do alot of research on turboing your mx5 before you start ...

I used two for the demister but i had a dash for the ducting.
You could try track down a stick on one like they have on rear windows, I don't know the legality of that though.
