Weird noise #1 - could be your bonnet catch? If you haven't already tried it put some insulating tape around the catch and see if that fixes it. For some reason the sound travels and seems like its inside the dash. Alternatively it could just be a rattly glovebox door?

Could be your bonnet rattling - it often sounds like its coming from somewhere else. Try winding some tape around the catch and see if that makes any difference. Good luck
