Oil filter

Please can someone suggest where I can buy a Fram oil filter for my 1.6l NA. I understand that they are a much superior filter than the Repco equivalent, and not as expensive as the genuine Mazda part.

Thanks

Beeping problems

I think that the horn button is just pressed on and can be removed by careful
use of a flat blade type tool. Your wife's best steak carving knife would
probably do it.

Beeping problems

The horn button does need to come off to remove the steering wheel. When I
last had need to change the steering wheel I needed to buy a set of pullers.
They are not expensive (Super Cheap in fact) but you are welcome to borrow
mine.

Hey again Bill I make no claims to being informed, or having global knowledge and experience, and like as not, I am not due any credit at all. I do have a talent for finding carparks in busy areas though. I am just enjoying being part of the community that is this forum. I know what you mean about p...

I also have a fe cents to add here. I changed my lights a couple of years ago, as follows: I felt the same way and after a discussion with a representative from Hella, I fit new semi-sealed lights and bulbs - the existing lights were fully sealed. Below is a copy of the information from Hella: There...

Throttle plate adjustment screw

Gazza suggested that there may be a problem in this area and Glenn confirmed it last weekend. A closer inspection shows that the locking nut on the throttle plate adjustment screw is missing on my car. Can anyone suggest a way to set this this up properly, once I fit the nut.

Thanks

Recently my passenger side power window stopped moving when I operated the up / down switch. I could still hear the motor humming and a quick look - after removing the inner door panel - confirmed that the one of the cables had broken ie. it was no longer under tension. Turbo Insurance...Yay for A.M.I

When I approached AMI with a view to insuring the replacement to my standard 1989 car, I gave them a detailed list of the modifications made to the new car, by MazdaSpeed, before it was imported into New Zealand. I imagine that just as with all event of this type, the organisers task is made easier by having (full) payment in as early as possible. The flyer that will be in the next Top Down has a portion that can be cut off and returned with your payment. For those who wish to take part in the day and who ar...

Let's go completely mad and say that we will leave at 6am, Saturday 20 May,

leave at 6:15am.

A flyer will be included with the next issue of Top Down, due out sometime next week I think. Cheques should be made payable to me, with lots of zeros before the decimal point. However, on a different show, did he not compare all of the roadster type sports cars available in Britain (I may have the description wrong there), and judge the (NB) MX5 as by far and away the best?
