1:1 reg isnt enough. you need at least 4:1 but around 5:1 is correct. and if you do fit a 5:1 youll need a High pressure fuel pump like a walbro 190HP. oh and the stock ECU fights against the fuel you are putting in even at wot all the way to 4500 rpm. so you need an O2 clamp.

How long have u had it running (days weeks months) ?
How many ks has it done with this setup ?
Don't want 2 rain on ur parade but some of the blokes on here have been running boost 4 years and if they say its dodgey I'd b inclined 2 believe them! U could b driving a grenade? Siren hit the nail on the head - what r ur A/F numbers? Bugger all hasn't been tried on these motors and if it was as easy as this more people would know about it

 When this thing blows up please tell us.

Reading through your posts has already told me that you arent mechanically inclined and should have never listened to any of these so called "experts"
1 - without checking air fuel ratios you WILL be running lean
2 - Running no intercooler will mean hot intake temps which combined with a lean mixture is asking for trouble
3 - 14º timing is marginal on an n/a motor let alone a turboed one running lean and hot intake temps
4 - afaik even nb motors dont run knock sensors so when your engine does knocks your engine will keep going as is, causing more knock resulting in pistons melting and/or con rods leaving the engine

also hanzou has never sold anything car related on trademe so you are bullshitting

Thanks for cheering me up!
Been having a stressful day - and feel 10x better now after reading this thread

"I don't know how to technically calculate Air fuel ratio"

Bloody Classic :D :D :D
Heard some good one-liners in my time - but that tops it.

I know the guys trolling and 10:1 the car doesn't exist - but certainly made me laugh.

1990 Turbo NB???? - Sounds like it's on it's 2nd engine already.
Might be wanting to talk to Panchel the Indian Engineer about that.

I have a turbo yes, i have also done all the work on my mx5 if that counts as building one, i am unable to drive it on the road as it is a dedicated track car for now.
I'd rather not touch your car, I prefer to stand on the sidelines and watch things explode when "experts" know what they are doing

Please post a video of yours so we can all laugh
