If not stainless ex manifold, then what and where from?

Post by Timmo » Sun May 18, 2014 11:10 am

My stainless steel exhaust manifold is cracked at the weld on the number three cylinder. I've already had it welded up once and I realised it would likely crack again.
There are some SS headers on trademe but they'll likely suffer the same fate- What other options are out there that are fairly cost effective?
Ex: 1991 BRG NA6, 1998 White RS, 1997 Wine Merlot M Edition

Factory ones? Can't get more cost effective than that

I've seen dyno sheets with factory header/aftermarket header on supercharged and NA cars with almost no difference in power.

That's gotta be worth something.
