I have some stainless headers on the way, and I have a 'cat-back' stainless system currently installed with stock headers and a rough straight pipe replacing the cat which I want to replace with a stainless steel 'test pipe'. However, the straight piece that I have in place seems like it is quite long compared to the photos of stainless test pipes/replacement cats I've seen.
A bit of the stock headers has been cut off as you can see so maybe that is throwing my judgement off, but is my current midpipe the same length compared to other aftermarket pieces, i.e. does the flange sit at the same place that others do?
Midpipe length question
