Tauranga- Anyone got a large (50mm) spanner or adj crescent?

Post by Timmo » Mon Mar 10, 2014 10:50 am

Hi all- I'm restoring one of these:

There is a very large nut which keeps the torque rod in place which controls the 'leaning' function- Does any one have a large (it's about 50mm) crescent or adjustable crescent wrench near Tauranga that I could borrow for a couple of hours to do it back up please?
Happy to pay a deposit etc- I know how people are with their tools

McEntee have been brought out by an Australian comp... Kennards.
They are even more expensive than they used to be.....As Timmo seems to know already. The gear has all been upgraded with new so thats a consolation of sorts.

Ok I'll measure it tonight if possible (although I'm away for a coupe of days after that)- I couldn't fit my callipers in the hole, hence the vagueness of the diameter.

It can't be a socket, it has to be a spanner unfortunately- The torque rod passes through the centre of the nut.
