Exactly. Its no different from browsing the garage section on different car forums, then reading the user's info. Set your location settings as the city or region, rather than your town or suburb. Blank out your license plate in photos if you want to go that far, even though it does fuck all.

It's not hard to get into an MX-5 though... I've accidentally unlocked mine with the key to my flatmates's Subaru, then was confused why I couldn't get the key into the ignition switch.

I keep it in a garage these days ;)

hi guys, hope every one is having a good start to their weekend.

Quick question:

Do you usually keep track of modifications done on your car? And if you do, how much time you organizing it?

For example my friend keeps a notebook of all receipts, notes and pictures of everything he's done to his car. Do you guys do that?

sadly I am not that fussy, about the closest I get is a cellphone pic and a forum post along the lines of "OMFG guys! look what I just received!"

I have a huge list of things that I want to get done, but the only list of completed/installed mods that I have is the garage section on this site. I keep receipts for any major work done, but I try to do most things myself.

A wish list (like the thread here) would be a cool idea to implement.

I use the garage section of this forum to list stuff....so I'm not really sure how this app would benefit me to be honest.

Chris, you would get better mileage out of your notebooks if you stopped writing in crayon

well, beside keeping track of your mods, our site can also make sharing between users easier and more systematic. One of my friends was working on his engine and ran into trouble and wished he could find someone with the same engine (who probably experienced same issue before) to ask for help. Our site will enable you to search specifically for other users who has the same parts/modifications as you to ask for help/opinions.

Hey guys, can you please help me out with this survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/382B9H9. It will help us build a better and more useful site. It takes less than 5 minutes and all information will be 100% private and confidential.

Thank you so much guys for your time and help so far. I really appreciate it!

Cheers,

Alex

Don't mean to be a prick, but from what I understand forums help you with the above.

You seem to have the will to build something great, you're just lacking the ideas.

Its just apart of the basic applications on my galaxy phone. Nothing special, but it allows me to take photos and store them on there too :)
