So after the track day this weekend, I am going to have a lot of time up my sleeve, so I am thinking about making some products for the NZ community.
Carbon fibre products to be exact.
Before I go ahead and waste time/money on materials and what not, what would you like reproduced in carbon fibre/fibreglass?

Aaaaand that silly little cooling thingy that sits right at the front of the engine bay and stops air from being so lazy.

Okay! That's a good list.
Already made one headlight lid, aswell as a rad cooling panel, so they aren't too difficult. The Bonnet will be a bit more difficult but still do-able!

Chris's MX5 doesn't have a front lip, but if you want a GVBRO style one you can use mine for a mould?

Hmmm, folded lip would give the cleanest edge and best clearance

That would also be cool, might be a bit tricky to mount the factory latches to.

Carbon fibre cage

Probably not much point to the bonnet if you're wet laying the carbon fibre. I seem to recall most carbon fibre bonnets you can buy are often slightly heavier than the aluminium bonnet already?

Carbon fibre cage would be fucking cool!
Yeah the bonnet, if I were to make any would be simply for aesthetics.

Making CFRP body panels sounds like a lot of work...
