Media button on NC3 Bose sound system

Post by Doozer » Sun Dec 24, 2017 6:51 pm

Hi, I just bought an NZ-new 2005 NC MX-5. On the Bose sound system there is a 'Media' button, which I assumed meant there would be a USB or SD card input somewhere. However, I can't find one, and the manual makes no mention of that button. Can anyone help with that?

It's not for USB or SD card. You need a cable like this; https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-pa ... 249067ccd2, it plugs in to the back of the Bose headunit then you can use it like an auxiliary input and plug in your phone/mp3 player etc.
