Water sloshing in bulkhead

Post by AlanKWebster » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:40 pm

Hi guys
After rain, I hear water sloshing around in front of the passenger department, presumably in the bulkhead between the back of the engine bay and teh front of the footwell somewhere. Where are the drainholes hidden..? Or is there someone Out There who has a solution to this (hate the idea of my MX5 NA rusting from the inside out!) my garage doesn't seem to know how to help...:-(

It will most likely be in the sills. There is a thread in the General Discussion section that covers where to look.

And don't let anyone tell you that MX5s don't rust. You need to make sure that the drains from the rain rails around the base of the hood are clear as well.
