GOODYEAR GSD3 TYRES ANY GOOD???

Post by my m5emails » Wed Feb 23, 2005 10:30 pm

Glenn,

have these on our 2002 wrx and have done 30K kms so far with a resonable
amount of tread left, excellent tyre, esp in the wet.

The potenzas that were on the car only lasted 20K kms and did not grip as
well in the wet and were much the same in the dry.

look here for info from users.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyres ... sp?type=MP

these had been the highest rated tyre for about 12 months and have just been
knocked off the top.

Our 215 45 17s were about $250 each fitted and balanced.

Any one got or had the Goodyear GSD3 tyre??
They look very similar in pattern to the TOYO T1 S,
but with a slightly more solid outer block.
Im going to be replacing my 205/45/16 tyres soon and
want some thing a bit more compliant than the
Bridgestones that are currrently on it but that will
last more than 25,00k's like the toyos do.
