New subject (not speed) new roof

Post by Keith Smith » Wed Jan 19, 2005 11:19 pm

In an attempt to change the subject... just prior to Christmas had the
roof of my NA replaced at Al's with one with a glass rear window. Non
zippable but don't need that anyway. Lid drops down fine. In and out
in a morning, loaned me his car for shopping and breakfast. Great guy,
impeccable service, recommend him to anyone. Car looks a treat,
doesn't smell like a wet dog in the rain anymore. Off for a drive...

New subject (not speed) new roof

The important question is...how much?
Just curious as my roof (and especially the window) is nearing the end of
its useful life although it's rarely up so hopefully will last a while yet.

just on $1200. Discount available of about $100 if you're a member. I'd
been putting it off for ages, but I figure the 92 needed it... she
stays outside in the rain in Auckland all the time. No room in the
garage... four kids bikes, model painting tables etc. Talk to Al
direct.

Oh... its only about $100 more than a plastic rear window. Definitely
worth it.
