How long to enter a MX5 ??

Post by EricW » Wed Dec 21, 2005 9:33 am

If the owner had been doing the "right thing" and been "Top Down" the thief
could have simply vaulted in, I blame the owner really, after all it isn't
the thief's fault that he is underprivileged, is it!

Thats obviously one advantage of it being branded a 'hairdressers' car - no self-respecting thief (now there's an oxymoron!) would be seen dead in one (now there's a good idea)!

Ah yes the old hair dressers car. That title for the worlds favourite sports
car keeps turning up dosen't it. A friend of my sisters told me the other
day that back in the sixties it was the Triumph Spitfire that had that
title. So it would seem the term 'hairdressers car is given to any car
thats deemed under powered and a bit girlie in apearance by those who feel
they have to own a V8 muscle car, probably because they are seriously
challenged in the willie department.
Merry Christmas and happy MX5 motoring in 2006

They broke into a MX5 using a screwdriver in 4 seconds.
didn't see it, but did they screwdriver the lock? You can usually get
in at the rear of the soft top much easier with no damage (in an NA)

How long to enter a MX5 ??

I've got both an MX-5 AND a Triumph Spitfire.

I guess i'm following the wrong career path.

- Dave.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
