... or you could have a look on eBay, where people sell the factory manual
on CD for less than $5US. Search for "miata manual".

Ok just wanting a little feedback on this since it seems everyone has a
different opinion,
Should I buy a Haynes or are the Enthusiast (wierd) manuals better?
I mean sure Haynes dont tell you about every tiny little thing but how much
better can some English mechanic really write this stuff?
Anyway just some views on what to buy would be great.

David, and the others,
Wouldn't bother spending the money on the CD-ROM (like I did). All
you get is the book (on CD) with all the bits and parts of a 5 with
their numbers next to it, it does not say how to put it all together,
not what to grease, not what the best way is to take stuff apart
without breaking it,...
Better spending a little more and get Grainger's or Haynes
Grainger's USD32.97 http://tinyurl.com/a7a7v
Haynes USD14.25 http://tinyurl.com/9m2ez
Another book I think should be on every enthusiast's bookshelf is
Keith Tanner's Performance Projects (the guy from Flyin'Miata)
http://tinyurl.com/blnuc
Cheers,
WiM

not the MK II which I have. I e-mailed the company I bought it from but having
no reply etc still have it (mint). If u are interested contact me on

I have the luxury of both & prefer the enthusiasts edition however, I refer
to both when I want to check out something as their approaches to a particular
task also differ slightly. The Haynes has full wiring diagrams & the
enthusiasts does not, although they might not be entirely relevant to some of
our models.
