Sadly I must agree with the Mazda number of 249 cars for the record day.
I have been counting cars on the panorama I took just before we started and
can only see 61 rows of 4, +2 at the end, plus the extra 1 NC at the head.
That = 247 cars. Not the 294 that we all thought, to get that many there
would have to be 73 rows, and there's no way I can see that many rows in my
Photos.
The panorama most have seen was taken after the run and some cars had
already left. I can get to about 240 cars in that one.
Not too many have seen the before panorama. Nigel has a copy of the 3 photos
which make it up. It's not quite as spectacular as the after one, and is
taken at a lower resolution, 400kB per photo. Prints ouk ok at A4 size
though with grain starting to be seen.
The after panorama printed out at A4 is 1900mm long!!! The before one is
about 800mm long.
I'll bring my computer and some cds to the next run on the 30th, anyone with
a memory stick is welcome to a copy. AND I'll bring the assembled
panoramas in various sizes.

249... 294... somebody had their numbers muddled. I don't care... and what
about that Elise 'sleeper'...

Nothing to be sad about, it was a grand day and I'll remember us going
around the track in the drizzle/rain, honking and hooting with our tops down
(well, most of us) until the day I keel over and buy a tin can
