Strange thing was that on my way back to Tauranga I saw at least 3 MX5's
heading for Auckland... a little late perhaps ;-P

I hope we'll be able to get/buy some of the official shots from the
helicopter

Ive been cruising around tauranga today in my mx5 (gold, just the way our
medals should be in the olympics) and havent seen one here all day. Thought
they must have all gone to auckland.

Bit of a bummer about the poor TV coverage, but then again it was a great day
and a wonderful turn out, a cool experience to be part of. Nice to meet some
new people and put faces to names. Saw a few cars I knew and never saw the
owners...

I tried to be the last one to put the top-up in the rain but came round the
corner to see Peter (Dragon) still had his down

Peter wasn't the only one with the top down on all 4 laps. Quite a few
bringing up the rear had theirs down including the last car (me).

Again the MX5 club, Mazda and all the owners 'did the car proud'! Regards
