Firstly,

Thanks to everyone who replied with such useful information - it is
appreciated.

Unfortunately I was outsmarted by the "buy-now" button 10 mins before
bidding ended and lost the chance to 'steal' the Link Plus. Never mind
- this allowed me to do more research.

So where did I get to??

I spoke to both Link Electro and Flyin Miata. It transpires that they
simply use the hardware from link and that the software is completely
rewritten specifically for the MX5.

This software can be installed only in the Miata-link - not the Link or
Link plus. From a lot of reading on Miata.net this is a hugely
recommended unit with unparalleled support from both Flyin Miata and the
miata community.

So - I ended up with a shopping list of:
- A miata-link from Link electro
- The rewritten software from Flyin Miata
- The optional Knock sensor
- Optional boost control solenoid
- Hand held programming unit
- USB connector to link to the laptop for logging
- The Flyinmiata upgrade for air temp compensation

Now - can anyone recommend where I can get some good quality injectors
(used / reconditioned)?

Thanks

C

p.s. I picked up the turbo unit from having it fully reconditioned on
Saturday - have the guys on this forum also found that their wives are
not as excited about this stuff as you are?

Or is it simply just my wife?

Or is it because I sat it on the new white tablecloth?
