FM Dealers?

Post by animalmagic » Wed Jul 27, 2005 5:21 am

Are there any FM dealers in NZ? Or would it be a personal import?

FM Dealers?

Post by Euen » Wed Jul 27, 2005 12:34 pm

I just got some stuff from them this week. Took FM a few days to get it out the door to UPS, but it left FM in Colorado on Thursday US time, arrived in Auckland on Sunday and I had it Monday afternoon.

Cheers

FM Dealers?

I have used their tech line and it's great, always fast
reply's. I think it may well be a small company. Anyway the
UPS freight charges are shocking, but if you email them they
will also give two USPS (US Postal Service) options. My last
quote was UPS US$110, USPS Priority US$24, and USPS Normal
$10 so there are good savings to be made on the freight.

It's good that FM will do this as many US companies are DHL
or UPS only. And DHL/UPS are total rip off's. I've had lots
of things from the US on US Postal Global Proiority and this
usually only takes a week + our crap customs.

Perhaps this is an uninformed question, but what does "FM" stand for?

But of course! So it wasn't an uninformed question, it was just the
early onset of Alzheimer's :)

Thanks

FM Dealers?

Post by Mikkels » Thu Jul 28, 2005 4:08 pm

I'm in the USA at the moment and have just received my
Fidanza flywheel delivered to my hotel. I ordered it from
NZ two saturdays ago from Go Miata. It was shipped on the
Tuesday so took a week UPS surface to get from California to
Florida where I am currently.

The Flywheel looks very well made so I'm keen to get it in
when I get back early next week. I'm going to go to a
Meremere day before that to measure the before SS Quarter
mile time.
