I.C.E.= In Case of Emergency

I'm posting this because it's such a good idea, simple, free, and like all good ideas why didn't someone think of it before?
Basically, ICE means In Case of Emergency & is a scheme whereby you put the number of the person/s you would like contacted in an emergency, in your mobile phone address book under the letters I.C.E. The emergency services would then know exactly who to call if ever you were involved in an accident etc. This has come to public attention since the London bombings. Any additional contacts can be listed as I.C.E 2 etc.
The emergency services would know where to look on your phone for a contact number.

A paramedic thought up the idea and it is becoming accepted throughtout the country.

Hi Guys, Just cause its no longer safe to do so doesn't mean there wasn't
a time when it was safe to travel at excessive speed on our roads its
just getting from a to be there is no hero factor. im one of those guys
who liked to speed and you would be hard pressed to keep up with me if
you were only doing 170 but the road condition hits this one on the head
its not the drivers its just plain revenue gathering combined with a road
system that was never designed let alone designed for the traffic flow it
has on it these days, if they keep on blaming the motorist and speed no
one will think of asking them to upgrade the roads to a safe condition.
