club days and drives

I had an interesting comment from a new club member who seems as keen as
mustard that i have heard before and that is "its early days but the club does
not seem like a friendly lot" Now relax Nigel and have another of your strong
coffees !
I would also like to say we have found the opposite and enjoyed meeting new
like minded folk on a MX5 club run.
The club seems to get 25 cars aprox on a run out of how many members? Perhaps
organisers at the arrival point could welcome new members and encourage them
to introduce them selves,this was done at a run we were on and is a great
idea.
So remember we were all new once and make an effort to say hi to new faces and
the club will be richer for it.

WE WENT ON OUR FIRST RUN LAST WEEKEND... (LUNCH AT SALTY DOG.. ETC),,
AND FOUND ALL THE MEMBERS WE SPOKE TO VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL.

AM SURE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE... IT CANT COME SOON ENUFF.
