Hi Eric

If you have time ask your neighbour about music piracy. I'd be keen to hear
his 'honest' opinion. A friend of mine while on a plane sat next to the GM of
a large music company and asked about this. The reply was along the lines of
'Sure it's had an impact but most of it is all B.S. young people have a wider
range of stuff on the radio than ever before and where do they want to spend
their money??? not on music like teenagers of 10-15 years ago but on pre-pay
cards for mobile phones. The music industry is just whining about losing
market share of a teenagers discressionary income".

So there you go and it makes a lot of sense.

Actually Gazza, he is pretty dirty on it, does not approve at all.

This is a real pity, because he has, as you would expect, an absolutely
amazing CD collection, walls and walls of them, (with the odd personally
autographed photo of him with Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson etc
hung in between). He has allowed me to borrow some fairly awesome stuff, and I
just dare not copy any of it! What a bugger!

bugger? As a former police officer, surely you should be aware that following
Mr Jackson's acquittal you may do no such thing...
