windows was a glint in bill's eye).

Haven't had much to do with the Apple range, too busy with the wintel
machines! That's why my MX5 'plate is FIXAPC. Thanks to the Redmond crowd!
If you move the spare under the boot floor, you can fit a pc, keyboard,
mouse, inkjet printer and 15" monitor plus all cables and a few essential
tools in there.

Ahhhh... trust us Mac users and PC repairmen to get things on this
list back on happier topics. All in a days work I guess. Don't thank
us... we'll just smile smugly in a knowing sort of way.
Me... I just tape my laptop on the open glove compartment, pull it
sideways slightly for good viewing, put on a DVD, turn it up real loud
and drive on down through the desert road

Keith

PS. Does anyone know how I can correct that sun in the laptop screen
issue? Plays hell with my driving on twisting corners...

Ken, Keith... how many others?

It seems not at all surprising (in fact entirely appropriate) to find
aficionados of two consummate examples of engineering & elan in the
same forum!
I, too, drive both MX5 and MACs and it occurs to me that I enjoy both
for some uncannily similar reasons:
their superb quality of engineering and design,
their ability to be customized to individual tastes while maintaining
their essential MX5/Roadster/Miata character -- manual/auto, tops
up/down/hard, colours(1), turbos, etc.,
really classy/classic styling,
and, of course, sheer FUN.

I was doing the Mac thing long before discovering the joys of MX5s...
In fact I had one of the first two Macs imported into NZ in Nov 84 (a
venerable 128K 110v 1st generation Mac) and produced NZ's first
"desk-top published" magazine with it even before the days of
Laserprinters!

These days I have more, faster Macs, but try to spend more time
enjoying my MX5 than my computers... especially now that the weather
has finally come good!

I just wonder how many more MX5/Mac drivers we have here?

cheers,

Come down here. The scenery is so much better you won't need the DVD! The
roads are good too.
