Just looking at the systems offered by Flyin Miata in the states and the
associated price tag $US 1250
anyone know the difference, bar software, between these and the Link ECU you
can buy in NZ
am assuming that with a Dyno run and tuner roughly the same results can be
obtained here for a
lot less
cheers

Link ECU
Michael,
I have a Link system in my car. The FM ECU is exactly the same product,
sourced from Link Electrosystems in Christchurch. I have until recently been
running the Link software, which is OK, but on the weekend I switched to the
US software which I bought from Bill Cardell at Dealer Alt. Cost me US$50
and it is absolutely wonderful. The car was running stronger than before,
and the setup and tuning was so much better. So - if you're a New Zealander,
buy it locally and I would recommend buying the US software right away.
