lazy summer

Hi,

The annual problem of how to pack the MX5 for those weeks away on holiday
approaches. If anyone knows of where (in Auckland) to buy clever space
saving camping/beach chairs that will fold away to next to nothing at all
into the boot of the MX5 I'd be really grateful.

:-)

PS yes I know I could always unbolt the car seats, take them out and use
those each time!

Endorse H's advice however be aware that this style of chair now comes in
several different models (and at very significant price differentials)
----- some lower, wider, more comfortable, heavier tubing and weight,
sturdier, cloth vs canvas vs synthetic materiel, etc than others. There's
even one now that is a 2-seater!

You can now find them in most of the major retail chains (Briscoes, K-mart,
etc) but also at some sporting, camping and marine stores (ie. PaknPedal,
Canvas City, Hunting and Fishing in Glenfield, marine store near Westhaven
Marine, etc).

How do I know all this??? I was on a crusade last year to find the one
that suited me best --- mine (purchased at K-mart) come with a carry bag
that has a strap so you can carry it like a rifle and were more roomier and
sturdier than those from Briscoes. You can carry two in the trunk (yeah I'm
an American) easily with room enough for a small (for the beer or wine of
course) chilly-bin.
