plastic polish for rear window

I've just used the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Professional Clear Plastic Cleaner
(number 17) on my rear window and it worked really well. Although my window
wasn't too bad overall it had that bad strip about a quarter of the way up
from the bottom. I used a 3M polishing disc; it would take a LOT of elbow
grease! The window now looks as good as new.

I also bought the Mequiar's Clear Plastic Polish but that didn't seem to
have much effect. I would recommend the Clear Plastic Cleaner though.

Ecurie Lievre (Eden St, Newmarket) sells the cleaner and polish for $20 per
bottle (236ml). They also have a huge collection of car books and
paraphernalia, including some good MX-5 books. Plan to spend some time in
the shop. It has some fascinating stuff.
