Archives for this list now available/Spam info

For anyone who is interested, archives for this list are now available at
http://www.mx5club.org.nz/emaillists/nz ... rchive.sht

The actual archived emails are not situated on our site (it is in the too
hard basket at present, but will happen) so appear in a frame window with
our menu bar etc.

We have had a couple of questions regarding the possibility of subscribers
receiving spam (unsolicited junk email) from companies using their email
address on this list. The large US Miata lists and Miatapower lists have
recently had problems with this.

I have gone to great lengths to eliminate spam bots and email address
harvesters from being able to target our website. I also don't give out
email information to anyone including other subscribers. More details are at

The site that hosts the archives takes a similar view on spam and has
similar protection methods.
