Had the opportunity recently to try one of these out over a weekend (my job
involves writing about cars - shitty work but someone has to do it)- it even
stoopped raining long enough to have the roof down without getting wet. The
six-speed is a lovely box, I could certainly wish for one under the xmas tree
- takes a bit of getting used to - trying to remember what gear you are in.
Whilst the M2 is better in many ways than the M1 (not having to zip the back
window up is neat as is the heated rear screen) it doesn't sound as good as my
1.6-litre 90 and anyway I can't afford it (but hey I guess that in five years
there will be lots of JUC imports at $10,995)
