I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what identifies a 1990 V
Special from other models.

TIA

V Special

Peter,

The 1990 V-special is pretty easy to identify. Here in New Zealand people
tend to mistakenly call them British Racing Green Limited Editions.

In 1990 the Japanese had a choice of 3 equipment packages. The cheapest had
manual steering, manual windows etc.

The more popular package was the 'Special Package' which had power steering,
electric windows, momo steering wheel etc.

Then in July 1990 Mazda released the V-Special to celebrate the first
anniversary of the MX5. It came in only one colour which was British Racing
Green (also called Neo Green in some countries). It came with tan leather
interior, tan hood cover, a wooden Nardi steering Wheel and Nardi gear knob,
CD player, Polished tread plates.

Hope this answers your question.

Cheers

Chic
