Not sure what you mean. Some 99 models came with spotlights in the
bumpers - not sure about NZ though.
Some earlier models may have had spotlights as dealer options also.

Many earlier MX5s and a lot of the new ones have aftermarket lights fitted.
These could be anywhere from 50 to 100Watts or more - there are hundreds of
brands/types.

Eunos Roadsters also had a factory option of fog lights.

They are yellow, but I have no idea of wattage.
