dear john,
thank you for your reply. I have been searching the Trade & Exchange for about
2 months now. Most of the mx5 for sale has done about 160,000km and their
asking price are $8,000 and upward. is this about right? my budget is $8,000.
i've only managed to look at 4 mx5s. most of the time, i could not arrange a
suitable time to look at the car. it is either the time is not suitable for me
or not suitable for the seller.
the cars i have seen are usually "sun faded panel" or it is imposible to see
through the rear windscreen clearly.
what is the life of a mx5 or any car for that matter? i know it depends on the
service history of the car. But for a first time buyer and who is not a
mechanic, is there a rule of thumb to avoid a car which has done "so many"
kilometers?
kind regards,
michael
