I'd actually like to try spacers and see if they make a difference... last
time I looked at them they were "over-priced" at around $250 a pair (from
memory... checked with the VehucleTustingNewZulland checkers and got a
incredibly biased opinion that if 4wheel drives can get away with tyres
extending outside the bodywork I shouldn't have a problem.

P.S does anyone have a 89 with the original battery, lightbulbs, tires, and
indicator fluid?

I say again that I have a pair of 10mm spacers free to a good home.I'd actually like to try spacers and see if they make a difference...

hi all.
I picked up Mike's "10mm" spacers today, got them fitted for free at Rowes
in Avondale, blatted up and down the North Western for a trial. I'm no
expert, but the car seemed to hug the road better at the back...
Next step is to try 25mm spacers at GT performance as suggested previously,
if VTNZ like them...
The 10mm spacers accordingly took 10mm of the hub bolts - my Centerline mags
still fit but would fall off if I tried 15mm or more.
And yes, the car looked great on Quay Street.
And no, I haven't had them chromed yet.
