Bill

The chap on the end of this email address derek.elliot@stonebow.otago.ac.nz
has a 97 Merlot which he wants to sell- he mailed me a couple of months back
to see if I knew anyone who wanted to buy one. I think prices for these are
around 20-23 K depending on condition, km etc.

Good Luck,

Phil

Both these cars are in the Herald,Probably the ones youve seen Bill ,
97merlot,nz new,leather, 50k, $21995, and the 1998 nz new (probably a 97
registered in jan 98 as none were made in 98) leather, 30k,$24500.These
prices seem pretty steep to me when there is a 98, 1800 6 spd, new shape NB
with hard top and leather for $23000 ono in the same column. I know what Id
be buying.Ross.

Already looked into it --- the new shape one advertised is an automatic ---
why own a sports car and have an automatic is a bit beyond me though I'm
sure it suits some.

As I believe my husband said once before... some have to have an automatic
due to necessity. In his case, rheumatoid arthritis makes gear changing
difficult on bad days so an auto allows him the pleasure of a sports car
without (too much) pain.
