interior "pain" sirens - a good "farkorv" measure :P

do microwaves need to be solidly mounted (grounded?) to a metal surface or do they just need to sit on top , ie carpet in between ? And why do they false in hot weather?

yep - replacing your headrest speakers with 110db sirens would certainly stop someone from wanting to sit in the drivers seat.
