My idle read about 2.5 - 3 and about 4.5 when driving, that reminds me, what revs do you normally drive your car at ?

Just being facetious, I use much less revs with the blower on. There's so
much mid range I tend to use 4th and 5th instead of 3rd.

Mine reads about 4 at idle and round about 6 on WOT, so it really never
reads anything in between with my 'digital' throttle, its either off or
fully on =)

Saw a nice MX5 with a hardtop today, passed by my window at work, it
head a aluminium Gate for the gear stick, looked really tasty =P Anyone
know where I can get one from?

That sounds good, the gate, was it like the Ferrari 555?
They have a very nice chrome gate with the gear numbers at the end of
each gate slot.

Would that be for learner drivers?

Looked like it from my second floor window! Couldn't see the numbers
though or tell whether it was chrome or brushed aluminium.

It was go faster red with red hard top and boot spoiler, possibly an
import then so could be a Jap aftermarket thing. Would love one on mine
though... So if its anybody on the list? It was in Ponsonby, Maidstone
Street, directly opposite John Andrews Mazda dealership.

Graeme
p.s. certainly looked classy and not ricey...

It must be a cosmetic thing though, the slots are probably wider than
required?
