Insurance & AMI) - mx5 bikers??

Post by Badcat » Fri Nov 01, 2002 9:07 am

hi - i have a y2k Cagiva raptor (think about a ducati monster after a year in the gym) - Cagiva used to own ducati.
and a KTM LC4 640cc Supermotard.
i'm probably selling the cagiva - as it's only done 2500 kms - i'm riding the KTM all the time.
any other bikers on the list?

Nice gear, I've got an RF900. Usual story, got back into bikes after a long
absence. I can't believe how much they've changed in 16 years though. Far more
than cars have, the RF feels like a missile and while it's quick I know it
wouldn't get near any of the litre-bikes.

If we have enough takers, we should take the bikes to Taupo in Feb.

The main worry about having a bike as well, is driving the MX in Auckland's
frustrating traffic and wishing I was on the bike.
Lou
P.S How low are the cops going to get in search of revenue?
We went up S H 16 yesterday, about 2km south of the lookout my Laser detector
went off big time. I couldn't see the IRD agent at 1st, then saw that he was 3
- 4 metres up a bank on the right side of the road with most of his car behind
some bushes. No ticket, because I was being good, NOT! Actually we were held
up by some Sunday drivers. I couldn't help thinking how far away we would have
been if he did try to catch us.
