Mathew, where is the rain supposed to drain to?
The rain rail water goes down the plastic 'plug hole/Funnel' that is
behind the seat belt tower and there is a tube that leads it out under
the car directly below the seat belt tower. (If you have a look you will
find it). I think if this becomes blocked the water can back up and can
get into the sills (or perhaps the tube has been dislodged and isn't
connected to the funnel). I guess it's possible for the water to then get
from the sills onto the floor inside.
You can unblock (or test for blockages) by putting an old garden hose
down the drain hole (behind the seat belts, near the hinge for the roof)
and pushing until it appears under the car. You might have to ram it up
and down several times if the blockage is bad.
Be careful though, because you can dislodge the drain pipe and it a bit
tricky to get it back in.
Cheers
