a few tidbits from the Autosalon at the weekend...
aside from being blinded by the chrome, deafened by
the stereos/dyno-run and getting all frisky from the
bikini babes there were a couple of interesting
things...

King springs (including mx5 ones) were on special from
one vendor, and there was a nice red mx5 with a local
turbo kit and a Garage Vary bodykit ! And the price
was right for both too :)

oooh, how much for the king springs? :)
I'm as keen as the next man to start swaying to the music @ the live
concerts but when your car does it to (music or not) I don't like it. Were
they the nice adjustable 1's?

Yes, they automatically adjust their length dependant on the dynamic
relationship between the car and the road!

Not to mention the variable ride hight depending on velocity.

Right. I see how it is then, a nod's as good as a wink to a blind man ;)

That's what you get for going to bed @ 1 and getting up @ 4:30 in the morning.

springs were $360 inc GST (am I allowed to say from
which shop?), and they haven't adjusted their way out
of the box and onto the Konis yet... although with
enuf sleep deprivation... anything's possible!

the turbo kit is <$5k for *everything* according to
the guy. It was the only mx5 at the show :\

I knew I wasn't going mad but I'm a little sleep deprived @ the moment, still
those re'nt the ones I saw but same principal. But I only see mx6 and mx3
varieties, would they suit the mx5? maybee the 323 springs?
