Towbar was flywheel

Post by Sam Parker » Wed May 22, 2002 9:35 am

Yes I have a towbar with a removable tongue - use it to tow a 8x4 trailer
full of wind surfing gear (hard to fit a roof rack to a MX5!! - tows well.
I got it from Best Bars (it was actually the original prototype they made
for Mazda when MX5 came out - they never put them in production) - it has a
removable tongue and all you see when removed is a small square box.
I did an article for the club mag about three years ago on it - probably
still have it at home on my computer if any one is interested

Hi david - I went from yoko 520 std size to yoko 539 std size.
$160 each, excellent grip wet and dry - and quieter too.
Couldn't be happier.
Bought them from paul at the pits in beach road auckland.
