I suppose it had to happen one day.
First symptom: inexplicable gentle banging noise (clamps rattling)
Second symptom: as you accelerate above 60 onto the motorway or open
road, there's a BANG and everything suddenly becomes brighter and
breezier, and also wetter, cos if it wasn't raining you wouldn't have
the top up would you?
Third symptom: underwear becomes challenged.
Fourth symptom, half a second later: Driver looks very sheepish.
What happens if you forget to clamp the roof!
What happens if you forget to clamp the roof!
Ouch. No permanent damage I hope. This leads me to wonder, as I have before while on the move, if one can raise the hood at any speed above a crawl. ?Any experiences out there

I've raised my roof at 120kph before. It was absolutely bucketing
down and I didn't want to slow down because I'd have got absolutely
soaked.
Cheers
