Going to attempt to re-black my front lip at some stage, as well as various other small things that're bugging me.
The wheels also need a tidy up, but it's probably easier (read: more economical) to buy nicer wheels in good nick than it is to clean up the old ones... Unless there's a solution you lot are hiding from me.

Welp, onto the wishlist it goes.

I've got tinted side oval things and never had a problem. If you get them and they ever do question them (they won't) it's a simple job to swap them
Might get tinted circle ones eventually maybe

Wish they made these badboys in a 16" diameter:

Am very tempted to get a set anyway. Flow formed at 12.2lbs / 5.5kg for 15x9 +35. $159 usd each.

Will 15 look too small on an NB?

15" is the right size :) IMO 9" is too wide. Unless you're going for a particular aesthetic appearance then closer to 7" will cause less issues with clearance, you'll have a better selection of tyres and the handling will probably be better.

(from my reading) I thought 9" was a much faster set up than the same tyres on a 7" or 8"? 225/45/15s seem to be the fave tyre combo along with 15x9s in the States since it puts the sidewall of the tyre closer to perpendicular with the wheel.
Does need a fender roll though.

edit: these are from guys who seem to only use their cars for the track though.

yeah for track times wider is likely faster.

7" or 8" wide is prob better for a daily though. Still think nb's suit a 16" diameter wheel better.

A 15x9 with a 205 R888 on it is proven to be one of the fastest setups. Due to the stretch the tyre has less sidewall flex meaning more grip. Alot of testing done in the USA with wheel/tyre sizes

For those 15x9s you also need struts that will clear the wheels, OE style won't.

Faster they may be on track, but you're probably not running R888s on a street car and even if you were, Toyo's spec for the 205/50/15 looks to be 7.5" max, so as if the LVVTA will be okay with that ;)

9" is silly for a DD.

Those are a very similar style to XXR 527's which can be had in 15x8.25 (derp .25" sizes) and a 16x8.25".

Pretty cheap wheels, $115 USD: http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-527-Wheel ... 68082n.htm

But they are 0 offset (ugh) and likely to be pretty heavy as they're another knockoff company.

For anyone interested in these I just wanted to give a heads up that Wade(The guy selling them) is not the most trusthworthy character..

I spoke in great detail about the car I bought off him (he insisted no problems) and after already owning a MX5 I knew what questions to ask and it turned out after I booked flights and flew up to Auckland the car had quite a few big problems, gbox, diff, engine mounts, all engine seals, waterpump.... You get the jist many problems which I know I should have just walked away (Got some $$ off) but things became far more apparent halfway down the North Island when I was stranded with an alternator that had just about fallen off the car and then he said when he finds the injectors(that came with the car!) he would post to me FOC at my expense as he believes in karma blah blah blah.

Just wanted to give a heads up if anyone was looking at these as I am sure used injectors can be sourced cheaper and from reputable sources. or even better get some IDs 8)

Cheers
Liam :)
