Just note that manifold is for a B6 only and being top mount will mean that the downpipe will have to be on a really bad angle to clear the firewall

If only they were better for taller drivers. Apparently it's about the same or slightly less headroom than stock...

How tall are you? I'm about 6'1 and have one of these seats, headroom is fine but I did have to get a dished steering wheel to make room for my knees.

Just under 6'3". Currently have a foamectomy-ed stock seat (in an nb1) which is OK, but I couldn't do with any less room.

So I'm only looking at seating alternatives that give as much headroom increase as possible at the moment.

Saw these for sale on NZHondas.com:

Image

SSR Type C's - 16x7 - imo the perfect NB street wheel (I already have some!). Quite unique in that they are made via an SSM process that results in equivalent properties to a forged wheel - they weigh 5.0kg (11lbs) which is absurdly light for a 16" wheel.

Cheap BRG/Tan NA in Timaru

I've been driving past an NA for sale for the last few days and stopped to take a look today. 1991 BRG, body looks ok but paint is pretty tired, might come back with a good cut though. Tan leather/Nardi interior. Standard daisy wheels.

Anyway, the guy's asking $2200 which is a reasonable price. If anyone's interested I don't mind taking it for a test drive and reporting back.
