Joel looks awesome! 55s are sweet as!

I had another couple fun drift days with heaps of tandems, trying to improve my chasing skills so I can enter some comps.

Made a seal clap in this vid haha
http://youtu.be/i2X2LA9kpKQ

And as with tandems comes risk, smashed the rear garnish into a few hundred pieces...
Image

Next day was even more fun with lots more people willing to jump in on the tandems. The challenge is making your line work with a completely different car so you look to be taking the same line. Not super easy

This is Royces R32 RB20E, we had awesome battles all day long
Image

Fairly consistent tandems, Royce is a really good driver so made chasing easier as he was always on the right line.

So that was another weekend of carnage, I also broke another tail light and my exhaust hangers wall scraping....

Good on ya Furai.
I have a spare garnish you can have if you so desire. It has a small crack on far right hand side. Oh... And its red white and blue. PM me if you want it. No charge for a thrill seeker.

Cheers guys I am getting my moneys worth out of her! Ill see if I can find a green garnish first but I do need a new drivers tail light now haha

I tried the MKIs on the same side and they didnt look great for some reason, to bland of a design with a bland car(No kit, lip, low etc).

Image

But I have bought some Longchamps which are coming, they will be for the front and Wats on the rear then MKIs and other spare Wats as drift wheels

Should wait til Aiden (Pine Engineering I think) starts making lips and barrels and pick up a couple barrels instead. 14x7.5 -10 or something. Diiish but sensible wheel width

Haha our ideas of sensible are very different, 7.5J +8 would just be slapping an inch on the front lip of the 6.5j

Grrrrrr ... bit pissed off at the mo'

after being fine for over a year, a recycling truck this morning drove over my exit ramp and smashed it to pieces. I have been in contact with them and they had initially been helpful and understanding but I just had a conversation with a site manager who came out to have a look at it and it looks like they may fall back on the "its on council land and so is not our liability" excuse.

They will get back to me with an answer at some point but as I have repeatedly mentioned, there is $50 in materials excluding labor involved and it would be pretty bullshit if they decide to be dicks about this.

Its not a decoration..... its how I get out of my f&%kin' driveway!

In my last job I was a road corridor mgr for a local council and handled situations like this. Sorry to say you'll probably be wasting your time. Personally I'd get a bag of dricon from Bunnings and make a little concrete ramp with a gap between it and the kerb for the stormwater. Do it at dusk and it'll be all set by the morning.

its essentially an "illegal" modification to the curbway. you wont get anywhere withit. id just keep my mouth shut before the council guy comes and writes you a compliance notice and build a stronger one

I know it's not miata..
But Meh..

This is one of the cars i've been building and looking after for a few years now..
It's done the NI & SI endurance series and runs in the BMW series.
We've been giving it a huge over haul to run it in the Bathurst 12 hour in Feb,
And it's needing to be leaving next week.
It's getting dyno'd tomorrow after we finally got it plumbed up and running..
About 5k+ AN fittings and hose 0.o

When we get it back, hopfully tomorrow night or thursday it's just the cosmetic things to do and some small wiring jobs, to get it test day ready
for HD on Monday then leaves the next day.

Image

And this is another one i've been giving a love up today..
and more to do tomorrow..

Also have a Surtees
F5000 and Mclaren Can-Am getting tuned atm,

These three will be at the Ferrari festival next weekend

XD

Main car I look after, will be at the festival..
Image
One of his Other cars,.. that I tend to as well.
This is a special Mclaren..

Image
Surtees, Getting sent off the the dyno yesterday..
Fun fact about these..
The only thing that separates this model from the F1 Surtees is the engine,
Everything is pretty much exactly the same.

Image
And the Other Mclaren that I finished setting up and has been sent away to get dyno'd ready for the festival too.
