Curiosity

After attending Leadfoot (Thank you to Mazda NZ for the tickets) I am curious as to how many 1989 MX5 NZ New NA's are still on the road, I was told only about 8 were registered initially. The wind up window, no power steering, no aircon, has MAZDA not miata or eunos all over it ones.

I've got a 89 model, was a Mazda NZ demonstrator for a year.
I would have thought there'd be a lot more around tbh.
Cheers

hmm now i have to decide how far i want to go playing with it, i intend to vinyl wrap it at least, but haven't decided on colour yet, just really not sure how original to keep it.

When did they discontinue the "no power steering, wind up windows, no air-con" poverty-pack MX-5?
It will only be original once...

Ha Ha poverty-pack... I'm not sure, but our old 91 eunos had power steering, electrics and air-con.
