New owner - 2006 NC

Post by RobDickinson » Sat Sep 17, 2016 8:28 pm

Been wanting an mx5 for like forever, so picked up a grey 2006 NZ 2.0 6 speed thing today. Jap import 18motnhs ago with 1 NZ owner.

Ended up with an RX8 many years ago when they were new, good car but not the fun the mx5 is!

So the mx5 - looks really tidy, 132k on the clock. A nice upgraded exhaust back box at least, stainless, fat pipes :D and looks like the shocks have been swapped for something too.

Tan hood is looking its age so will need some love, steering wheel is also showing age as is the leather on the drivers seat.

Drivers seatbelt tensioner isnt good either (typical...?)

Anything I should be looking at ( cooling water header tank?), pick the car up monday, cant wait

Well picked it up, its awesome.

Have some things to sort out with it though.

And almost removed the floorplan getting it down my drive, quite a lip, found a good angle that I can just make it down without scraping...
